even if the scrolled region was only one line; this fixes a display
problem that occurs after doing a search that scrolls the screen down
one line and leaves the cursor on the last line of the screen, in which
case we need to update the line after the scrolled region

get_statusbar_page_start(), the statusbar prompt's equivalent of
get_page_start(); also make sure that the minimum allowed terminal size
in columns is 4, as the statusbar prompt code relies on this assumption

were causing breakage; make "previous history" and "next history" use

revert previously added extra calls to move_mbright(); it's more
...
efficient to just add the return value of parse_char() directly instead
of having move_mbright() return it (except in the cursor movement
functions, which should be kept simple)

add multibyte and wide equivalents of isalnum(), make do_next_word()
...
work with multibyte strings, and tweak the "smart home" routines to use
move_right() for consistency
