I saw a toot on the local timeline, referencing a toot from a user I had muted.
Is this intentional, or an oversight? If the former, it's not consistent with boosts.
does anyone remember what twitter did?
there's at least three reasonable behaviors here, and idk which one is worth implementing
Our vote would be to "This post is from a user you have muted", with an optional expand button, since getting context-free quote is bad UX.
Alternatively, you could mute out quote too, but that's not great either.
