Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may exist for a short time before cleaning up, in most cases it CANNOT be undone. Continue?
so i quote-tooted a pretty hilarious post about mozilla retconning the meaning of the <b> tag, and no matter what settings i have for the comment to the quote, the quoted text following is rendering as bold. this does not seem to be affected by the default post format setting – i've checked with the default format set to plain text too.
i'm running glitch-soc's main branch improved with all quote toot-related changes snarfed from the current treehouse main branch.
i tested three scenarios:
i would expect that unless it is possible to know the original format the post was using, the quoted toot should be displayed verbatim (possibly with an exception for images and links?)
